Donations for Charities

The need for help continues to grow. As the rubble is slowly cleared, the rebuilding process for the survivors and their communities is only just beginning. From medical and rehabilitation needs to psychological assistance and financial support for the families of the victims, the burdens on charitable organizations will be staggering.

Below is a list of relief organizations and special funds developed by the American Liberty Partnership in coordination with federal, state and local officials.  United Way, donations:

 - The United Way of New York and the New York Community Trust  have established a fund to help the victims of the attacks  and their families. The September Eleventh Fund will provide  immediate support to established emergency assistance agencies.  Anyone wishing to contribute may send their donations in  care of United Way, 2 Park Ave, New York, New York, 10016  or call: 212-251-4035. Donations are being accepted for World Vision's American  Relief Fund at the organization's Web site or by calling  1-888-511-6593.

International Association of Firefighters

The IAFF has established New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund to collect and ensure the proper distribution of financial contributions to the families of those lost in the World Trade Center disaster. This fund is the only fund officially endorsed by the IAFF and the Executive Boards of IAFF Locals 94 (FDNY Fire Fighters) and 854 (FDNY Fire Officers).
